Beginning Saturday, accounting students from the Poole College of Management will provide free tax preparation services for those who have made $64,000 or less during calendar year 2016. Other dates are Feb. 25, March 18 and April 8.

We proudly serve as staff to the Local Government Commission, the North Carolina Capital Facilities Finance Agency, and the Debt Affordability Advisory Committee. The division supports the state of North Carolina and over 1,300 units of local government through the sale and delivery of all State and local debt, monitoring debt repayment, counseling and assisting local governments issuing debt, and monitoring and analyzing the fiscal health and accounting practices of all local governments.
